Corporate Website

We developed the first Tata Steel corporate website in 1998. Successive revamps followed in 2000, 2002(integration of CMS), 2004, and in 2007 (Centenary Revamp). The 2010 strategic revamp captured the shared vision for a large enterprise, strengthening its position of leadership globally. The website was an industry benchmark, and won the 'Steel Industry website of the year' Award from World Steel Association in 2010.

In 2014, we had an information architecture redesign, whereby the site functions as a dedicated web presence for the Group's Indian operations.

Global Website

Tata Steel's global website was launched (2010) with a single identity approach to serve as an umbrella website for the three main operations of the Tata Steel Group. As befitting a global website which has to be incorporate data from geographically diversified operations, several sections were operated through an integrated software module with a centralised database. The global website resides in the main domain and has been extensively restructured in 2014.

Search Engine Prevalence

To gain prevalence on search engine results pages (SERPs) for Tata Steel's website we have been working on a strong search engine optimisation campaign since 2009. We kept pace with a fast-paced and unpredictable industry, achieving results without sacrificing quality. While keeping an eye on micro changes, we adopted a more comprehensive approach, aligning our call to action with every change in the website content and structure.

Social Media Accounts

Tata Steel's social media presence is an integral part of its communication matrix. From daily monitoring, tracking and managing, to addressing relevant queries, creating photo albums or polls, our dedicated social media team is proactive, informing about the latest trends and recommending timely strategies to realise the content potential of a large, diversified conglomerate. Contests and online campaigns are aligned to all important events and happenings.
